Prayer for Janice Capuno-Medrano on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Almighty and Ever-Living God, Father of infinite mercy and compassion, on this blessed Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we come before Your holy presence with humble and trusting hearts to commend to Your loving care Your daughter, Janice Capuno-Medrano. Lord Jesus Christ, Divine Physician of our souls and bodies, You went about doing good, healing the sick, comforting the sorrowful, and restoring hope to all who placed their trust in You. Look with mercy upon Janice, who continues to endure severe pain in her shoulder and arm. You know the burden she carries, the sleepless nights she has endured, and the difficulty she has experienced even in undergoing the medical examinations needed for her treatment. Stretch forth Your healing hand upon her. Ease her pain, restore every muscle, tendon, nerve, joint, and bone according to Your holy will. Heal whatever illness or injury afflicts her, strengthen her body, calm her fears, and renew her spirit with the peace that only You can give. Bless the MRI and every medical examination that still lies ahead. Prepare the way for her to undergo these procedures safely and successfully. Guide the physicians, radiologists, nurses, therapists, and all healthcare professionals entrusted with her care. Grant them wisdom, knowledge, skill, and compassion, that they may discover the true cause of her suffering and provide the treatment most beneficial for her healing. If it pleases You, O Lord, grant Janice the grace of complete and even miraculous healing. Restore her to full health so that she may continue to serve You faithfully as a loving wife, devoted mother to her two beloved sons, dedicated public servant, faithful daughter, caring sister, and generous provider for her family. May her restored health become a testimony to Your goodness, mercy, and abiding love. On this Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we entrust Janice beneath the protective mantle of the Blessed Virgin Mary. O most loving Mother, Star of the Sea and Comfort of the Afflicted, wrap your daughter in your maternal care. Intercede for her before your Divine Son. Obtain for her strength in suffering, courage in uncertainty, patience in waiting, and unwavering confidence in God’s loving providence. May the holy Brown Scapular remind all who wear it of your constant protection and your call to follow Christ faithfully. We also ask the intercession of Saint Joseph, faithful protector of the Holy Family; Saint Paul the Apostle; Saint Peregrine, patron of those suffering from serious illness; Saint Luke the Evangelist, patron of physicians and healthcare workers; and all the angels and saints, that they may pray unceasingly for Janice before the throne of God. Bless also her beloved husband, her two sons, our entire family, and all who care for and love her. Fill our hearts with faith instead of fear, hope instead of discouragement, and charity that patiently bears one another’s burdens. Make us instruments of Your consolation and peace. Heavenly Father, into Your loving hands we place Janice and every concern of our hearts. Whether through the gifts of medicine, the skill of healthcare professionals, the loving support of family and friends, or by an extraordinary miracle of Your divine power, may Your holy and perfect will always be accomplished. May Our Lady of Mount Carmel accompany Janice each day, protect her beneath her mantle, lead her ever closer to her Son, and obtain for her the grace of healing, peace, perseverance, and abundant hope.
