Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3rd. Polling sites will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Town Hall offices will be closed with the exception of the Municipal Clerk’s office. Unofficial election results will be broadcast on Access Hammonton (channel 9) as they are reported to the Municipal Clerk.

2026 Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule:

If your trash day falls on a holiday, in most cases, it will be picked up the following day. If Friday is a holiday, trash collection will take place the day before, on Thursday. Town Hall offices, including the Public Works Department, will be off on the following holidays:

November 3rd, Election Day, Tuesday
Collection will resume on Wednesday, November 4th

November 11th, Veterans Day, Wednesday
Collection will resume on Thursday, November 12th

November 26th, Thanksgiving Day, Thursday
Collection will resume on Friday, November 27th

November 27th, Day After Thanksgiving, Friday
Collection will take place with no interruption but Town Hall offices will be closed.

December 25th, Christmas Day, Friday
Collection will take place the day before on Thursday, December 24th

January 1st, 2027, New Year’s Day, Friday
Collection will take place the day before on Thursday, December 31st.
