On Wednesday, October 15 from 10am to 12pm, Jewish Family Service will host a monthly community outreach in Hammonton to provide access and information about agency programs and services as well as community referrals. Look for the JFS mobile van at the Hammonton Family Success Center, 310 Bellevue Avenue. If you are looking for assistance – counseling, mental health services, supportive housing and more – plan to stop by and speak with a JFS staff member.

Holiday Update: Town Hall Closed Monday, Oct. 13, 2025

Hammonton Town Hall will be closed on October 13th, 2025 in observance of Columbus Day.  Trash collection on Monday will resume on Tuesday, October 14th. Brush week is October 14th-17th. Please make sure your yard waste does not exceed a 6'x6'x6’ pile. Clippings should be placed at the curb before 6:00 a.m. on your regular trash day. Inclement weather will set back collections so please be patient with the Public Works Department. Curbside leaf collection begins on Monday, October 20th. The Kiwanis Club of Hammonton 49th Annual Halloween Parade Wednesday, October 29, 2025, 7PM Downtown Hammonton The parade will originate at Orchard Street and Egg Harbor Road and proceed up Bellevue Avenue to the Atlantic County Human Services building. Route 54 Reconstruction Project • Hammonton On Monday, September 22 through Friday, September 26 a lane shift will be in effect for concrete flatwork on Route 54 (12th Street) from Monroe Avenue to Chew Road in Hammonton.   The regular maintenance of Hammonton fire hydrants will begin this week and continue through October 3rd, to maintain and improve water quality. Routine upkeep also ensures that hydrants are properly working. Flushing fire hydrants may release sediment, which could lead to temporary instances of discolored or "rusty" water for some customers. This discoloration is a common occurrence during such maintenance activities and any resulting changes in water quality or service interruptions are expected to be brief and minimal.
