PSA: Heads up! The Route 54 Reconstruction Project will close Bellevue Avenue in both directions between Valley Avenue and Liberty Street from January 19 to January 23. In addition to their call responses, this entirely volunteer-based department participated in over 25 community events, supported a week of fire prevention visits, and completed numerous hours of training and re-certification courses. Did you know goats love Christmas trees? Please consider donating your tree to a local farm! Angels in the Pines Goat Farm LLC and Funny Farm Rescue are accepting trees this January. Hammonton residents can place their Christmas trees at the curb for collection during brush week, Jan. 12th-16th. Please be sure that all decorations, metal stands, lights, cords, tinsel, and plastic bags are removed from your tree before placing at the curb.
