Yard Waste Disposal Guidelines
Please be advised that placing loose yard waste (e.g., grass clippings, brush piles, or limbs) in the roadway is not permitted at this time of year. All yard waste must be placed at the curb line on your property. Depositing debris in the roadway poses safety hazards and may cause storm drain blockages.
Yard Waste Collection Guidelines:
• Loose yard waste may be placed out for collection no earlier than 6:00 AM on your scheduled trash collection day.
• Yard waste must be placed in open-topped containers or clear bags weighing no more than 35 pounds each.
• All containers or bags must be clearly visible at the curb.
• Whenever possible, please use biodegradable bags for disposal.
Seasonal Leaf Collection:
• Loose leaf collection is only conducted during November and December.
• During this period, it is permissible to place loose leaves at the curb, as our leaf vacuum equipment will be in operation.
Brush and Limb Collection:
• Brush and limb removal occurs monthly, during the second full week of each month, beginning on Monday.
• A maximum of one (1) brush or limb pile, not exceeding 6 feet by 6 feet, is permitted for curbside collection.
