PURPOSE: The Town of Hammonton is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Hammonton Lake Park located at 100 Sports Dr. in Hammonton, New Jersey 08037. PROJECT SCOPE: The Town of Hammonton proposes to create the following new facilities at Hammonton Lake Park: a stormwater-management system including numerous retention basins, a tot lot playground adjacent to the concession stand, a bocce ball court, and other recreational improvements. Hammonton Town Hall offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Trash collection on Monday will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20th. Stockton University will be hosting the 22nd annual MLK Day of Service that features projects on campus at the Galloway, Atlantic City and Hammonton locations.
