Hammonton’s End of Summer Bash Coming to Downtown Hammonton August 30

HAMMONTON, NJ – Summer may be winding down, but there is still time for another celebration in Hammonton. The Town of Hammonton, in partnership with Main Street Hammonton, will host Hammonton’s End of Summer Bash on Sunday, August 30, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Lincoln Street.

The free summer concert will feature The Party Wave Band, performing three hours of live music in the heart of Downtown Hammonton. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets and lawn chairs, find a spot in the grass lot on Lincoln Street next to the water tower, and enjoy the last moments of summer together as a community.

The concert is about more than saying goodbye to summer. It is also a chance to bring Hammonton together and recognize the people and connections that make this community what it is. From neighbors and families to local businesses, organizations and volunteers, so much of what makes Hammonton special comes from the way the community shows up for one another. The End of Summer Bash is a chance to bring everyone together in one place and enjoy that sense of community.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing Hammonton come together for this,” said Rich Rehmann, President of the Main Street Hammonton Board of Directors. “There are so many people, businesses and organizations that make Hammonton the community it is, and sometimes you just need an opportunity to get everyone together and enjoy it. Bring your chairs and blankets, grab some food, listen to some great music, and spend the evening with your family, friends and neighbors.”

The concert does not start until 4:00 PM, but visitors are encouraged to come to Hammonton early and make a day of it. Downtown businesses will be open throughout the day, giving visitors plenty of time to do some shopping, grab lunch or drinks, and explore Downtown before heading over to the concert.

Downtown Hammonton is home to locally owned shops, restaurants, cafés, breweries, bars and other small businesses that help make it an incredible place to shop, eat and experience. Many of the people behind these businesses are also the same people who support local organizations, sponsor community events and give back to Hammonton throughout the year. Spending the day Downtown is a great way to support those very businesses that make Downtown Hammonton so special.

Once the Bash begins, food and refreshments will also be available from various vendors, including smash burgers from Louie’s Fries, flavored lemonades from Big Squeeze Lemonade, and hot dogs and more from Matty G Dogz.

Attendees are welcome to bring coolers, but all coolers will be checked to ensure no outside alcohol is brought into the event.

The stage for the performance is being provided by the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society of Hammonton. Hammonton’s End of Summer Bash is free and open to everyone.
