Hammonton Town Hall offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Trash collection on Monday will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20th. PSA: Heads up! The Route 54 Reconstruction Project will close Bellevue Avenue in both directions between Valley Avenue and Liberty Street from January 19 to January 23. Work hours are set from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and a traffic detour will be in effect. Keep in mind that the schedule may change due to inclement weather. Did you know goats love Christmas trees? Please consider donating your tree to a local farm! Angels in the Pines Goat Farm LLC and Funny Farm Rescue are accepting trees this January. Hammonton residents can place their Christmas trees at the curb for collection during brush week, Jan. 12th-16th. Please be sure that all decorations, metal stands, lights, cords, tinsel, and plastic bags are removed from your tree before placing at the curb.
