Yard Waste Disposal Guidelines Please be advised that placing loose yard waste (e.g., grass clippings, brush piles, or limbs) in the roadway is not permitted at this time of year. All yard waste must be placed at the curb line on your property. Depositing debris in the roadway poses safety hazards and may cause storm drain blockages. Yard Waste Collection Guidelines: • Loose yard waste may be placed out for collection no earlier than 6:00 AM on your scheduled trash collection day. • Yard waste must be placed in open-topped containers or clear bags weighing no more than 35 pounds each. INFORMATION TO TAXPAYERS: Final 2025/Preliminary 2026 Tax Bills will be mailed once the County Board of Taxation certifies the tax rate. 3rd quarter Property Taxes are due August 1, 2025, however, the grace period will be extended. Please continue to check the town website for updates. Property owners may make payments toward their 3rd quarter without a bill either at the window or through the mail.
