  Traffic Advisory: Route 54 (Bellevue Avenue) in both directions is scheduled to be closed due to NJ TRANSIT railroad crossing work and track replacement in Hammonton. The area will be closed to traffic, at the intersection between Railroad Avenue and Egg Harbor Road from Friday, August 22 through Friday, August 29. Notice: 2025 Final/2026 Preliminary Tax Bills

The 2025 final/2026 preliminary tax bills will be mailed by Friday, August 8.  The grace period has been extended to Thursday, September 11, and payments must reach our office on or before this date to avoid paying interest.  Interest is calculated back to the original due date of 8/1/25.  Water/Sewer bills are due now with a 10 day grace period.  Please remember that taxes and utility payments should be made with a separate check.  Thank for your patience and understanding during this process.

All yard waste must be placed at the curb line on your property. Depositing debris in the roadway poses safety hazards and may cause storm drain blockages. INFORMATION TO TAXPAYERS: Final 2025/Preliminary 2026 Tax Bills will be mailed once the County Board of Taxation certifies the tax rate. 3rd quarter Property Taxes are due August 1, 2025, however, the grace period will be extended.
