On Monday, August 18, a single lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in effect along Egg Harbor Road in Hammonton between Route 54 and Route 30.
On Tuesday, August 19 through Friday, August 22, lane shifts and detours will be in place along Egg Harbor Road in Hammonton between Route 54 and Route 30 for milling and paving operations with traffic impacts as follows:
Tuesday, 8/19 – Eastbound traffic only between Route 54 and Route 30. Westbound traffic will be detoured at Route 30 to Central Avenue and Route 54. Intersecting streets will be closed at Egg Harbor Road or directed eastward based on location.
Wednesday, 8/20 – Westbound traffic only between Route 30 and Route 54. Eastbound traffic will be detoured at Route 54 to Central Avenue and Route 30. Intersecting streets will be closed at Egg Harbor Road or directed westward based on location.
Thursday, 8/21 – Eastbound traffic only between Route 54 and Route 30. Westbound traffic will be detoured at Route 30 to Central Avenue and Route 54. Intersecting streets will be closed at Egg Harbor Road or directed eastward based on location.
Friday, 8/22 – Eastbound traffic only between Park Ave and Route 30. Westbound traffic will be detoured at Route 30 to Central Avenue to Park Avenue. Intersecting streets will be closed at Egg Harbor Road or directed eastward based on location.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted work zone signs and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Traffic directors and police officers will be on site to assist.
