The 54th American Cancer Society Bike-A-Thon will pass through Hammonton Lake Park on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants and volunteers come together to honor cancer survivors, spread the word about reducing cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives. Please be aware of heavy bicycle traffic and if you have to travel in the area, leave yourself plenty of extra time to get to your destination. Opening Day of Trout Season • Saturday, April 11, 2026 Each year, NJDEP Fish & Wildlife raises and stocks thousands of freshwater fish across the state thanks to the dedicated staff at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Hackettstown State Fish Hatchery. The Pequest Trout Hatchery plays a vital role in raising and stocking over 600,000 rainbow trout annually, stocking over 190 waterbodies throughout the state. 4th of July Fireworks will be held at Hammonton Lake Park, 100 Sports Drive, Hammonton, NJ on Friday, July 4th, 2025 at around dusk, approximately 9:00 p.m. The fireworks will be set off from the little league baseball field along S.
