Should you receive a tax bill with the words “FOR ADVICE ONLY” and your mortgage has been satisfied, please call our office, we will be more than happy to help you. You will need to use the “FOR ADVICE ONLY” copy to pay your taxes until the next tax bill goes out.

Please note that if you have a mortgage company, the only way we can send information to your mortgage company is if we have a tax authorization form on file in our office, allowing us to do so. Can interest be waived?

Although we understand that things happen that may delay your payment, even if you have never been late before, we are unable to waive interest. Once a tax payment is considered delinquent, interest must be charged. Per state statute, the tax collector is required to collect interest on delinquent taxes. No one has authority to waive delinquent interest.
