Should you receive a delinquent notice and you previously paid by check, please call your bank to make sure that the check has been cashed. Although we understand that things happen that may delay your payment, even if you have never been late before, we are unable to waive interest. Once a tax payment is considered delinquent, interest must be charged. Per state statute, the tax collector is required to collect interest on delinquent taxes. No one has authority to waive delinquent interest.
If you would like to have a receipt sent to you, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. Once the payment is entered, we will print and send a receipt to you.
