Brush collection occurs in the Town of Hammonton on the second full week of every month, Monday through Friday on your scheduled trash day.

Brush must be placed out on the curb before 6:00 a.m., all ends of brush facing in the same direction. No stumps. We do not clear lots. And will be picked up on your scheduled trash collection day. Make sure NO metal or other foreign objects are mixed in with this material. Please avoid as much dirt as possible in your brush pile.

One (1) pile has to be no wider than 6 feet. No higher than 6 feet in height and no longer than 6 feet in length. Yard waste must be placed out in accordance with Hammonton’s ordinances or it will not be accepted.

Grass and Yard Waste

Grass can be placed out on your scheduled trash day. It can be in cans or clear bags. Cans or bags must weight no more than 35 pounds and be clearly visible on curbline. Please use biodegradable bags when possible

Loose Leaf Collection Schedule 2025

Leaf removal will begin on Monday, October 20 and end on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

While the Public Works Department makes every effort to maintain this schedule; inclement weather, holidays, and other unforeseen circumstances may alter the timeline of your collection day.

It is essential to ensure that the leaf pile is free of foreign objects, including metal, tree limbs, or brush. The presence of such materials can hinder the removal process and may potentially damage the equipment used.

Hammonton Convenience Station “The Dump”

Bulky trash and brush can be disposed of at the Hammonton Convenience Station on 8th Street. Commercial disposal is prohibited. Please visit Hammonton Town Hall, second floor Tax office to obtain a free residential dump permit or call 609-567-4300 ext. 119 for more information.

The Convenience Station is open every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
