Town of Hammonton – SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM

The Town of Hammonton has appropriated $315,000 in funding from the Atlantic County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for a Townwide Small Business Assistance Grant Program. Funds are for businesses that were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 Emergency.

“Hammonton is proud to support our small businesses throughout the entire town and we’re excited to be able to assist with these vital funds aimed at helping with COVID recovery efforts,” said Mayor DiDonato.

Hammonton small businesses with 10 or less employees that were open before the onset of the pandemic are encouraged to apply for up to $10,000 in grant funding to assist with payroll, rent/mortgage, utilities, advertising/marketing, insurance, and/or costs to comply with the State of New Jersey and any local social distancing policies.

Pre-applications for funding can be completed at the Town’s website at the following address: https://townofhammonton.org/sbap/

Funds are provided as grants and are not required to be repaid. Public utility payments and taxes not in escrow are not eligible expenses. Other funding exclusions and regulations apply. Please see website for additional details.
