The real estate market in Hammonton is booming.
Older homes are being renovated, newer homes are being built in
older neighborhoods and entirely new neighborhoods are being
constructed. New people moving to Hammonton are blending with our
longtime residents, creating a larger, more diverse and vibrant
community.
On the commercial real estate front, the continuing revitalization
of our downtown area, coupled with the renovation of existing
commercial property on the White Horse Pike (Route 30) has
resulted in an increase to the tax ratable base, without creating
sprawl.
Office and retail space is still available in limited quantities
on both the White Horse Pike and the downtown area along Route 54.
Vacant commercial land is available, but at a premium rate.
Hammonton’s Business Park has some land available, and is home to
140,000-square-foot Kramer Beverage Company, mobile food equipment
manufacturer Custom Sales and Service and the proposed
200,000-square-foot southern New Jersey headquarters of New Jersey
Manufacturers Insurance Company. |
