Hours Of Operation:
The Police Department Communication Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days
a year.
The Communications Center is equipped with the enhanced
9-1-1 Computer System. All caller information, such as name,
address, telephone number, and other details, are displayed when a
9-1-1 call is received. Your information is available even
if you hang up before the call is answered. Cellular
telephone
9-1-1 calls will go to the Police Department closest to
where you are calling from.

All fees must be paid in cash, money order, or check:
Pages 1-10: $.75 per page
Pages 11-20: $.50 per page
Pages 21+: $.25 per page
If you are sending for a report by mail, there is a $5.00 fee
per report,
in addition to the copying fee.
There is no charge if you need a background check for
employment, immigration, etc.
Municipal Parking Permits are also provided at no charge - you must bring
a
drivers license, copy of lease, copy of insurance, and copy of
registration.
Dumpster Permits for on-road parking are charged a fee of $20.00.
Handicapped Parking Permits:
Temporary: $4.00 (make check payable to NJ Motor
Vehicle)
Permanent: No Charge
POLICE DETECTIVE BUREAU

The detective bureau handles all investigations, major
crimes, narcotics, licensing, firearms registration IDs, and fingerprinting.
Fingerprinting for applications, licenses, firearms
registration IDs, etc.
is done on Wednesday, by appointment only. A $10.00 fee,
payable in cash or money order, is required at the time that the
fingerprints are taken.
A photo ID is also required.
DARE PROGRAM

DARE stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education and is a
long-term program which begins by letting the youth get to
know the officers in a non-confrontational setting.
The DARE Program was started in 1990 in both Saint Joseph
School and Hammonton Elementary Schools and is now in Grades
1-6 in those schools. |
