Hammonton is a center for the southern New Jersey
health care industry. Healthcare is a major employer in the
community, and residents benefit from several local health care
facilities.
Kessler Memorial Hospital, an 85-bed locally owned and operated
hospital, is based on the shores of the Hammonton Lake. In
addition to its main facility and emergency department, the
hospital also serves residents with a variety of outpatient
services and ancillary care, including dialysis, physical therapy,
a wellness center, spa and home health divisions.
Greenbriar Nursing Home and the Heritage Assisted Living and Adult
Day Care provide health care services for senior citizens.
Hollywood East Fitness Center and the Private Fitness Center are
locally based gyms. Hollywood East has an indoor pool, cardio
room, weight machines, free weights and areas for aerobics,
Pilates and yoga. Private trainers are available at both gyms.
Hammonton’s vibrant medical community provides a full range of
medical services, including general practitioners, pediatric
doctors who are regularly ranked as the “Best of Philly,” and a
variety of other medical specialists.
The Hammonton Rescue Squad, the Hammonton Volunteer Fire
Department and the Hammonton Police Department help keep the
residents of the community safe. |
