PROPERTY TAXES, WATER AND SEWER due February 1, May 1, August 1, November 1



No further bill will be rendered until 2012 at which time a bill will be submitted for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2012 and the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2013.

If you plan to pay by mail and want a receipt, enclose the bill in its entirety along with a self-addressed stamped envelope.



The collector is responsible for the billing and collection of taxes, water, and sewer.



INTEREST - If payment is not received within the 10 day grace period, interest is calculated from the date of payment that was originally due. Interest at the rate of 8% on the first $1500.00 and 18% for any amount over. A penalty of 6% will be charged on any delinquency in excess of $10,000.00 if not paid by the end of the fiscal year.



There is a drop box for tax, water, and sewer payments located outside of the lobby near the dispatchers department for after hours. PLEASE DO NOT DEPOSIT CASH IN THIS DROP BOX.



Any outstanding balances remaining unpaid on the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the current fiscal year is subject to tax sale.



THE TAX SALE FOR 2012 IS SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 26, 2012.



REAL ESTATE TAXES, WATER, SEWER, AND SPECIAL ASSESSMENT WILL BE ADVERTISED AFTER NOVEMBER 11, 2011. CERTIFIED CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS ARE REQUESTED FOR EACH DEPARTMENT.



**IF ANY TAX, WATER OR SEWER BILLS ARE NOT RECEIVED BY THE HOMEOWNER, IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THE TAX COLLECTOR'S OFFICE.**
