Dining Out In Hammonton
Hammonton is proud of bringing diversity and togetherness to the table. One of the best ways to get a taste for our close-knit community is to come hungry and try one of our many dining options.

Is your palate pinning for authentic Italian cuisine but a trip to Italy isn’t on the menu? Hammonton, a place where the local fare mirrors the town’s Italian heritage, is your next best bet.

From the Columbia III and Joe’s Maplewood on the White Horse Pike (Route 30) to Illiano’s on 12th Street, you’ll curb your Cavatelli craving and find more to choose from nestled in between. Chicken Parmigiana? Check. Pizza? Positively. Hammonton is home to six dine in/take out pizza shops alone, each with their own personal flair. Bagliani’s and Inferera’s Italian Markets specialize in fresh groceries, cold cuts, and Italian imports. Nothing is more Italian than a feast and St. Joseph’s Church and the Mt. Carmel Society host the Feast of our Lady of Mt. Carmel annually in July. Visitors snack on clams on the half shell, sausage and peppers, and roast pork. But if Italian isn’t your style, there are many other ways to get your fill.

Serious about Sushi? Try the all new Sushi Bar at Hoy Yeung Chinese Restaurant in Blueberry Crossing Shopping Plaza. The Grand Fine Chinese Dining Restaurant offers a great lunch menu in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Not quite sure what you want? At the new Jumbo Buffet you’re sure to find something you like.

If you think spice is nice, you’ll be pleased with the Spanish dishes Hammonton has to offer. Fiesta Mexicana serves traditional Mexican specialties in a fun way. Stop at one of our many Spanish groceries and bring some samples home.

Need to grab lunch in a hurry? Don’t just settle for McDonald’s Burger King, Wendy’s or KFC. Stop into one of our fine lunch-time eateries. Trina’s to Go offers a classic home-cooked menu with a very inspired flare. Daily specials and fabulous cakes and pastries are also available. At Mary’s, the great food and friendly service keeps people coming back day after day. If you only have time for take-out, then Chef Lenny’s is the place for you. No need to dirty your own pots and pans, let Lenny do it and bring back his delicious upscale offerings to enjoy in your home or office.

Everyone can appreciate a good burger or steak. The daily specials at Rocco’s Townhouse will give you something to sink your teeth into. Feeling like a Philly cheese steak? Try the West End Grille. The Silver Coin Diner has just about everything covered starting with breakfast up to late night snacking or dessert.

And speaking of dessert: no dining experience is complete without dessert, so save room! Tony’s Custard, Royal Crown, Stewart’s Root Beer, and Rita’s Water Ice keep us cool when the temperature is hot. Ricca’s and Cacia’s Italian Bakeries are pastry heaven. The Red Barn on Route 206 takes their homemade pies seriously. It’s is a must stop for dessert aficionados.

Hammontonians are fortunate to have so many wonderful dining options on the menu in our small and beautiful town. Of course, the best part about any dining experience is sharing it with those you love.
